In times of sickness, it is easy to feel hopeless and give up on life. Sometimes, untangling yourself from these though can be a very difficult process. But remember that you’re not alone because God is always with you and He is ever ready to heal you and restore peace and strength to you. This can only be done when you pray. The Bible says in 3 John 1:2 that “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” Prayer can provide comfort and it gives God the go-ahead to work in your life.

“My Lord and Savior, I am so grateful that my worth and identity are based in You. I am grateful for Your love You always demonstrate to me. I am very grateful for Your protection and blessings in my life. I say thank You for everything You are doing in my life.

Oh, Great Healer, I bow before You just as I am now. I surrender my entire being before You, my God. I accept You as my Shepherd, Savior and Healer. Heavenly Father, please take charge of the affairs of my life. Heal me, fill me with your healing power, and cast out all that should not reside within me. Father, deliver me from this illness and help me recover. Give me strength and shield me from all evil. I am going through a lot of pain and I am suffering. Lord, heal me and make perfect in my body whatever system that is malfunctioning. Root out every ailment, disease, infection, all inflammation, viruses, and destructive forms of bacteria.

I pray for Your covering of healing and grace. I pray for Your strength and Your great peace to fill my life, reminding me that You are close.  I ask that You rest Your healing hand on my body and ease the pain I am feeling. Grant me divine health and strength. Let no evil befall me. Deliver me from the hands of the enemy. Help me to have faith and hope in You. Your word says in Psalm 107:19-20 that when we call out to you the Eternal one you will give the order, heal and rescue us from uncertain death. Lord, I have read of miraculous healing in the past and I believe that You still heal the same way today. I believe that there is no illness you cannot heal because the Bible tells of You raising people from the dead and many other miraculous works. I ask for Your healing in this situation.

Father, thank You that my hope for healing is in you. I feel stronger, healthier, and filled with the peace of knowing that healing is taking place within me right now. True healing is mine through Your Spirit. I surrender to you, God, in total faith and total peace. I trust in You and I believe I am healed. I am being renewed, restored, and revitalized. In Jesus’ name, I have prayed, Amen.”

God is concerned about our wellbeing and is ever ready to heal whatever is broken in our bodies. Be it a broken mind, broken heart or broken life. His presence alone has immense healing powers. The first step to receiving this type of healing is to live close to God. The benefits of doing so are endless. As you grow more intimately with God, he reveals His will to you more directly.

“Our Father in Heaven, thank You for my life. Thank You for the love You have shown me and thank You for the grace upon my life. Be thou exalted above the earth, oh God. Any sin that I have committed I ask that you have mercy upon me and forgive me. Wash every sin in my life and restore unto me newness in mind, body, and spirit.

Father, I surrender my whole being to You, Lord. Take charge of everything that goes on in my body. Send your healing power into my body. Father, heal me from this sickness and help me recover. Give me strength and protect me from all evil from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet. Father, look upon me with eyes of mercy. May Your healing hand rest upon me. May Your life-giving power flow into every cell of my body and into the depths of my soul, cleansing, purifying, and restoring me to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Anoint me with strength and self-care today, tomorrow, and always. I ask that You will grace me with patience and wisdom. I ask that You will encourage me throughout the day to take the correct steps to walk proudly and behave well. Father, please fill me with the peace and joy I know can only come from You during this hard time.

Walk closely beside me during my journey to healing and recovery that I know it is possible through Your power alone. I lay before You the memories that haunt me, the anxieties that perplex me, the despair that frightens me, my frustration, and my inability to think clearly. Help me to discover Your forgiveness in my memories and know Your peace in my distress. Touch me, O Lord, and fill me with Your light and Your hope. Please speak to me clearly, Lord. Open my ears to hear Your voice. Open my heart to commune with You more deeply.

Father, I believe in Your overwhelming power to heal. Let me experience this power of Yours. I rest in the certainty of Your grace to heal. I know that with You all things are possible. You are my Lord, my Savior, My healer and my friend. I dwell within Your gentle embrace. Please grant me the grace to acknowledge Your will and know that whatever You do, You do for the love of me. I thank You, Lord, for an answered prayer in Jesus’ name I have prayed with thanksgiving, Amen. “
